Nwifuru expresses delight over Ikwo Interdenominational Church Service

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State is happy with the people of Ikwo Noyo clan for remembering to thank God for his abundant mercies and boundless favours.
Governor Nwifuru made his feelings known at Nwanoyo stadium, Ikwo Local Government Area during the interdenominational church thanksgiving, organized by the people of the clan.
Governor Nwifuru, who was represented by the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Odunwa, commended the guest Preacher, and General Overseer of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai. He maintained that the people of Ikwo Noyo has been enjoying abundant grace of God, since Rev. Ukpai prayed for the clan many years ago, and prayed for God’s continuous blessings upon the clergyman.
“Rt. Hon. Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru sent his felicitations to you. He said I should thank you for loving his people. He also asked me to congratulate Ikwo people for remembering to thank God. So, congratulations to Ndi Ikwo.”
“Not just that Ikwo has produced a Governor, Ikwo has produced a Deputy Governor, a Speaker, a Governor again, and the Governor’s wife. And with the love through the God you worship, the grace has been enormous to Ikwo people. I want to ask God to continue to bless you.”
Governor Nwifuru acknowledged the love of God to the people of Ikwo Noyo, and enjoined them to enhance their love for one another, so as enjoy unending grace of God.
“We don’t have reason to say that God does not love us, and we are enjoying his special grace. But let the people of Ikwo increase the love for one another, so as not to scare this abundant grace, because the volume is much.”
Earlier, the Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Mr. Sunday Nwankwo, enumerated reasons for hosting the interdenominational church thanksgiving and thanked Rev. Uma Ukpai for coming.
The Chairman formally welcomed him to Ikwo Noyo, and unveiled the expectations of the people of Ikwo Noyo on the coming of the Clergyman to include;
a new Ikwo Noyo, with greater number of Local Government Councils, a new Ikwo Noyo that will be totally purified in the peace of Almighty God, more economically viable, and a new Ikwo with greater political participations in the State, in the country and in the world at large.
The Guest Preacher, and General Overseer of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, extolled the people of Ikwo Noyo for the interdenominational church thanksgiving, noting that the feat was foremost since his many years of evangelistic mission, and made prophetic declarations on the advancement of Ikwo Noyo.
The event attracted Government officials, Traditional Rulers, Christian Association of Nigeria, and other dignitaries within and outside Ikwo Noyo.
